Shangri-la’s Boracay Resort and Spa

Boracay’s best 5-star luxury resort, with everything

With a secluded location near the northern tip of the island, the Shangri-la’s Boracay Resort and Spa is arguably Boracay’s finest resort. This is one of the newer properties, with 219 rooms, suites and villas that are only a few years old, and everything here is kept spotless and well maintained. There are two private beaches in addition to a huge swimming pool, and a huge list of other activities and options.

Typical of the upscale Shangri-La resort chain, the service here is exceptional, and guests are treated to many extras such as free fresh fruit every day. This is also among the more expensive resorts on Boracay, so it’s not an ideal choice for someone looking for a cheap holiday. But for those who want the best and can afford it, this is as good as Boracay gets. Guest reviews are excellent and many return each year, so booking early is well advised.

What the reviews say

Reviews of the Shangri-la’s Boracay Resort and Spa are exceptional, with nearly all of them giving a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. This is one of Boracay’s most expensive resorts, with clients who want the best of everything, so it’s helpful that it really seems to deliver.

Guests praise everything from the large and luxurious rooms to the excellent service to the food in the restaurants to the private beaches out front. One of the minor complaints you do see is that the private beaches aren’t quite as nice as White Beach itself to the south, but of course the public beach is usually crowded, so most people prefer staying here.
