Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel

Luxury resort with a great restaurant near the center of the action

Boracay Mandarin Pool View

Featuring 52 rooms and suites that run from modest to some of the best on the island, the Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel enjoys a great location a short walk from the center of the nightlife and shopping action in the heart of Boat Station 2. Even the smaller rooms here have many 5-star features such as bathrobes and deluxe bedding.

There is a main swimming pool and a kids pool for those who don’t want to venture over to the sand out front, and there is an acclaimed Italian restaurant here as well as one of the best spas on Boracay. Those looking for peace and relaxation might be better off a bit further north, but visitors who like to be close to the center should find this one a good choice. Reviews are quite good and room rates in the low season are excellent value.

What the reviews say

Reviews for the Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel are generally quite positive, with most guests being satisfied but not blown away. People like the central location, which is a short walk from the center of everything in Boat Station 2, yet not in the heart of everything, which can be noisy.

The rooms get good marks, as does the food in the acclaimed restaurant. The pool is large and well maintained, according to the reviews. Families and romantic couples both seem to be satisfied here, though neither group seems to say that it’s the perfect Boracay hotel. Overall this seems like a good choice, and they have particularly appealing low season rates.
